The Perfect Housewife

Have you ever watched BBC´s programme The Perfect Housewife by Anthea Turner? I LOVE that show. I don´t think I will pass the test to become a domestic goddess. I am simply not as disciplined and structured as Anthea is. What would she think if she shows up unexpectedly at my place today and sees this pile of laundry that need to be ironed? I guess she will be in shock. Do you think I will get away with the excuse that I have only been a fulltime housewife for two and a half weeks? I guess I need a little more time to adjust to my new life.

I would like to wish Ruben - our nephew down under - a very Happy Birthday. He turned 7 today. Congrats, boy! Hope you had a wonderful day.

it's a fantastic shot Ingrid, and the only "perfect housewife" I know, lives on tv; Bree in "desperate housewives" so don't worry ;-))

I didn't know you had become a full-time housewife! Welcome to the Club! I have tons of cleaning to do so I share your pain hehe.
Congrats on that bind-it-all, your collegues sure sound like nice people to work it! Can't wait to see the beautiful mini-albums you will create with it.

O, I love Anthea Turner's housekeeping! She is the reason I bought little baskets for the bathroomcloset and for my kitchenworktop (to put the soapbottles in. It is inspiring to see, but no, I can't be as perfect as that.

Hmmmm... I'm sure your not alone! I've been a Domestic Engineer (you like that, right?)for some time now! My house will never look like it was clean! Between the husband, the kids, the dog and the bird, it will never happen.
