Jillibean Soup Projects

This card went up on the Jillibean Soup blog today. I created a scallop card using my new Sizzix die. It wasn't a cheap die, and I was in doubt about purchasing it, but I am happy I did. I love the scallop design.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper Patterned paper, twine: Jillibean Soup Lentil Soup Button: Rusty Pickle Stickers: Making Memories Alphabet Stickers Tools: Sizzix Bigz XL Scallop Card, QuicKutz Nesting Flowers Ink: Papertrey Ink Other: book page

The new issue of Scrapbook Magazine is available now, so that means I can show my work that was published in the last issue. I'll kick-off with the layout that made it to the cover of the anniversary issue. This layout is one of my favorite layouts ever. It is based on Sketch 64 by Creative Scrappers. I was Guest Designer for Sketch 64 in August, and liked the sketch so much that I wanted to create another layout based on the sketch. The cute little boy is my nephew Nick. The Jillibean Soup blues are perfect for a baby boy layout.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper Patterned paper, clear stamps: Jillibean Soup Alphabet Soup, Soup Staples Flowers: Prima Marketing Tools: EK Success Retro Flower punches, QuicKutz Alphabet Diesel Grand, Silhouette, Nesting Flowers, Sizzix die Stars #2, sewing machine Sheer: Maya Road Brad: Making Memories Ink: Versafine Onyx Black Other: twill, waxed cord, foamtape

Later this week I'll show the other layouts that were published.

I love your card...and I love that Sizzix die. I just love Sizzix and have many many. They served me well long before the Cricut appeared on the scene and I still use my wonderful Sizzix stuff.
Hugs.
