More Cards

It has been a while since I scrapped a 12x12" layout. I only seem to make cards at the moment. I don't mind because I love to scrap little projects that can be finished fast. Well....fast??? I must honestly admit that I am not a person who creates a card in 5 or 10 minutes. It always takes me a little longer, but I don't care. I just love the creative process.

I am so happy with the beautiful My Mind's Eye Frost papers I bought last week as Dolls & Decorations. The papers match really well with my favorite kraft cardstock. And although I am not a vintage scrapper I just love the vintage look of these papers.

Materials used: Bazzill Kraft Cardstock, My Mind's Eye Frost Signature Christmas, Prima Journaling Squares, Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps Elegant Flourishes, Hero Arts Clear Stamps Laughter & Merriment, Foof-a-La Bag-o-Buttons, Versafine Onyx Black and Vintage Sepia ink and ribbon.

Last week I also bought a few sheets of Sassafras Lass. One of my colleagues became a dad for the first time. He and his wife got a beautiful baby boy named Ole Christian. I think the Whale of a Tale papers are great for a boy.

Materials used: Bazzill Kraft and White Cardstock, Sassafras Lass Whale of a Tale papers, Ellison Design Stars Dies, white label, My Sentiments Exactly Clear Stamps Multi Retro Alphabet, QuicKutz Silhouette, Versafine Onyx Black ink, Versacolor Pinecone ink and computer font Suede (free download at www.dafont.com).

The Love Elsie Noel line is just a fun line to work with. Inspiration for this card comes from Marije. She made some great cards with the Love Elsie Noel papers. I scanned my cards which isn't always the best way. In this picture a part of the ribbons is missing. It was already too dark to take a good picture and I was just too lazy to use the magnetic lasso tool in PSE. Or....should I say....I am not very good at it, so this works much better for me. LOL!

Materials used: Love Elsie Noel papers and ribbons, Bazzill Cardstock, eyelets, white lace, Rustly Pickle buttons, QuicKutz Silhouette, computer font Mandingo, Uniball Signo Pen White, and stapler.

Oh, and this afternoon I received the October AND November kit from Polka Dot Whimsy. Every time I receive the kit I am impressed by the amount of goodies in the box. Michelle Hill's kits are AWESOME!

Wishing you all a great weekend!
