The Big Apple IV

Today the weather wasn't really good. We had quite some showers on our way to the Flatiron building. We came across Marble Church on Fifth Avenue and found thousands of ribbons on the iron fence that is a representation for prayers for those who lost their lives in wars and a plea for peace. We both found this very impressive. We walked back to our hotel via 7th Avenue and Times Square and boy.....you don't want to be in these streets on a Saturday afternoon. It was so busy!! This evening we went out for dinner with Kay, her husband Jeff and her son Landon at Rosa Mexicano, a great Mexican restaurant that serves delicious guacamole freshly prepared tableside. The best....according to Kay and Jeff and they were right.....I loved it. Ours was extra delicious, because Landon helped preparing the guacamole. *smile* He is such a sweet guy. The food was wonderful, and so was our company. We really had a great time with Kay and her family. They are so wonderful. I cherish our friendship, and I am so happy that we got to meet in person here in New York.

Today I only have a few pictures to show you. Eric has posted some beautiful black and white pictures on his blog today that he took at the observation deck of Top Of The Rock yesterday.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
