Use It! Challenge 12

The new challenge on the Use It! Challenges blog was posted last Friday. This week's hostess is Patti West. She came up with the following challenge: 1) use some old chipboard 2) use buttons 3) tear some paper 4) optional: stitch and 5) have fun! I really like Patti's challenge because it contains my favorite embellishments (chipboard, buttons) and technique (sewing). The October Afternoon Weathervane papers were still on my desk, so I used them again. Here's my take on the challenge...

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper Patterned paper: October Afternoon Weathervane Button: Buttons Galore & More Rub-ons: Pebbles Inc. Tools: sewing machine, Coluzzle circle template Ink: VersaColor Pinecone Other: chipboard flower, twine

There is only 1 day left till 2 Sketches 4 You's Ultimate Card Showdown. Make sure to check the 2 Sketches 4 You blog tomorrow. It will be FUN!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Oh, I love this chipboard flower, Ingrid! Also, the button you used is such a unique shape. This is a wonderful card. I used to tear paper on my projects but haven't in a while. I need to try it again. It looks GREAT on your card! GORGEOUS! ♥♥ Kay
