ShortCuts Inspiration Challenge

A new month means a new theme over at ShortCuts. April showers bring May flowers, so our theme this month is flowers. To start off the month Alicia asked the Design Team to create a card inspired by this bedding set. I didn't have any papers in these colors, so I got inspired by the design.

Supplies: ShortCuts Clear Card Base Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye Rub-ons: Melissa Frances Tools: EK Success Corner Punch Large Other: foam tape

Do you want to win some ShortCuts goodies so you can try the fantastic products yourself? All you have to do is create a card that is inspired by the bedding set below and link your creation on the ShortCuts blog for your chance to win some ShortCuts goodies. Alicia is really generous and will give away 4 prizes. The grand prize winner will receive a $20 gift certificate to the ShortCuts Online Store. More info on the other prizes can be found here.

Make sure to check the other DT creations from Carla, Joy and Melyssa.

Yesterday was a sad day in the history of Queen's Day. A 38-year old man tried to attack our Royal Family by crashing his car near the royal bus. Seven people, as well as the driver, were killed and 10 people are injured. We were watching the Queen's Day celebration on TV and saw the horrible crash 'live'. I was completely shocked. I really can't understand why the man did this. It is very tragic. Queen's Day will probably never be the same again.

Oh, Ingrid. I've been thinking about the people of your country. It's such a sad and shocking situation and I can't imagine the scariness of watching it 'live'. It's so upsetting that your wonderful holiday/celebration will probably never be the same. Lots of hugs to you! ♥♥ Kay
