Card Patterns Sketch #14

Can you tell I {heart} the new October Afternoon collections? I used the Ducks in a Row patterned papers for Card Patterns' Sketch 14. The papers are gorgeous, and perfect for a baby card. Here's my take on this week's sketch.....

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper Patterned paper: October Afternoon Ducks in a Row Rub-ons: Doodlebug Designs All Mixed Up Button: Rusty Pickle Tools: Sizzix Big Shot, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels One, EK Success Retro Flower punch, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, sewing machine Pearls: Melissa Frances Other: ribbon, foamtape

We have a special Guest Designer over at Card Patterns this week. His name is Peter van Tilburg. He is our very first male Guest Designer. Peter is an amazingly talented 20 year old boy, and his work is awesome. I have met Peter a few times in person and he is a wonderful guy. If you are not familiar with his work yet you should really hop on over to his blog Scraps from a Boy to check out his stunning work.

As usual, the card of the week winner will be invited to be our Guest Designer. The randomly picked winner will receive a great card kit by Mackenzie Mae Designs. Details and pictures of the May Card kit can be found at Card Patterns or at the Mackenzie Mae Designs blog.

Did you notice the Card Patterns Design Team call? Michelle is looking for 4 new designers. Three members of the current team have agreed to stay for another term. Although I had a wonderful time being part of this team I decided to step down from the team. The current Design Team will be on for another 3 weeks, so I won't be saying goodbye yet.

I'll be back tomorrow with my ShortCuts Sunday card. Don't forget that you still have a few days to participate in my Gift Card Holder Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Superleuk kaartje, Ingrid. Hopelijk komt mijn OA papier maandag binnen. Wat jammer dat je niet verder gaat als DT lid van Card Patterns, het was toch altijd leuk om je kaarten te zien.
