Yesterday one of my mom's best friends celebrated her birthday and I sent her this card. I must honestly admit that I didn't create the card for this special occassion. I made the card (without the flower embellishment) a while ago, but it turned out quite clean & simple. While I was looking at my stash I came across this card, and decided to add a flower, button and twine to it. Now I like it much better.

I forgot to tell that Eric and I booked our trip to New York. We'll be going there next month and stay at a hotel opposite Rockefeller Plaza. It is my first visit to New York City and I am really excited to go and experience the Big Apple myself. Another reason why I am excited to go is that I will meet up with my sweet and wonderful friend Kay. I really look forward to meet her in person. Kay already said that she'll take me to her favorite ribbon shop. Poor Eric!
Thanks for stopping by.
